Command Mode

Press during the game to display three commands at the bottom of the screen. Use / to choose a command, then press to confirm.
During command mode the game is paused, so no enemies will spot you.

Selecting Weapons （WEAPON）

Select the "WEAPON" command to change the weapons in use. Set the weapons in order of Weapon (B) → Weapon (A).
Use / to choose a weapon, then press to confirm.
Weapon (B) Choose whether to fight unarmed (PUNCH), or use a knife (KNIFE).
Weapon (A) Choose from weapons you have in your inventory, such as handguns or grenades.

Selecting Equipment (EQUIPMENT)

Choose the "EQUIPMENT" command to display a list of equipment in your possession. Use / to make a selection, then press .
Press to immediately use the item (e.g., rations). Press to equip the item.

Using the Codec (TRCVR)

Select the "TRCVR" command to enter codec mode.

Sending a Message (TRANSMIT)

Attempt to send a message to your comrades John and Nick, or to your collaborator Jennifer.
Use / to choose who to contact, then press .

  • The other person will not respond if they are unavailable.

Viewing the Radar Map (DETECT)

Select "RADAR MAP", then press to view your surroundings. If your comrades John or Nick have set up a transceiver nearby, it will blink on the map.

Codec Calls

If someone is calling you, the CALL sign will display on the bottom of the screen.
Enter command mode and select "TRCVR" to start conversing with the party that is calling.

Exiting Command Mode

Press on any command screen to move the cursor to the commands at the bottom of the screen. Select the "RTN" command and press to exit command mode.
