If you don't have a weapon equipped, approach an enemy and press the weapon button to put them in a chokehold. (Keep neutral.)

If you press while strangling your enemy (with the Weapon Button pushed), you can walk while dragging him.

Keep tapping the weapon button while choking your enemy to break their neck.

If the enemy shows signs of escaping your hold, quickly tap the weapon button to regain your grip on them.

Press and to add or remove weapons and equipment without opening any windows. If you have an item equipped, this will remove it; if you don't, you'll equip the last item you had equipped.

In First Person View, hold down to take a step to the right, or to step to the left. Release the button to return to your original position. This is useful for taking a quick peek out from behind cover.

Reloading your weapon during combat leaves you wide open to enemy attack. If your magazine is about to run dry, tap twice to cancel your current action and reload. If you have the SOCOM or FA-MAS equipped, hold down the weapon button and press the crawl button to run and gun.

Upon hearing a suspicious noise, enemy soldiers will leave their patrol route to investigate where the noise came from. Once they surmise nothing is out of the ordinary, they return to their patrol route. When sticking to a wall, press the action button to knock on the wall, luring enemies who hear it.
