Enemy Movement during Infiltration Mode
In infiltration mode, enemies generally patrol along a set route, using their eyes and ears to see if anything is amiss along their path. Still, some of them may stop for a nap...
When the enemy hears a noise in infiltration mode, they leave their usual patrol route and go to the source of the noise to investigate. This is called "noise mode," during which the enemy's field of vision is represented by a red cone on your radar. If the enemies finds nothing amiss, they will return to their patrol route. You can also make noise on purpose to lure the enemy toward you.

- Enemies defeated in this mode may drop item boxes.
Enemy Movement during Alert Mode
Enemies will not go into noise mode in this state, since they already know you're there.

Enemy Movement during Evasion Mode
If the enemy rediscovers you while in evasion mode, you'll go into alert mode. If you can avoid detection until the countdown over your radar reaches zero, you'll go into infiltration mode and the enemy soldiers will quickly return to their patrol routes. Like infiltration mode, you can use noise mode to lure the enemy your way.
