Acquiring Items

Items can be obtained from item boxes. Check item box labels or use First Person View to see what's inside. Items obtained are placed in the backpack.
Take out an item from BACKPACK in the Survival Viewer to use it.

• You can't pick up ammo for weapons you have not yet acquired.

Weapon Icons

The amount of remaining ammo will be displayed beneath firearm icons.

Item Icons

Numbers beneath weapon and item icons indicate amount held vs. maximum.

Equipping

Press and hold the window button for weapons or items to display the equip window.

Highlight a weapon or item with or and release the window button (/) to equip. To unequip, press the window button (/) quickly, or highlight the NONE icon.

Using Items

Some items have effects while equipped, and some can be used by pressing while holding . Certain items, like the active sonar, can be used with .

Quick Change

Press the item window button () and the weapon window button () quickly to equip or unequip your weapon without opening any windows. This is called "quick change".
