Hold-Ups
Hold up enemy soldiers by sneaking up behind them and aiming your gun at them.
Enemies who have been neutralized by a hold-up won't take any actions unless backup comes or the game enters an Alert Phase.

Body Search
Press the Action Button near a neutralized (knocked out, sleeping, near-death, held up) enemy to perform a body search and steal items.
More items can be acquired from enemies who have been held up. Note that performing a body search on a knocked out or sleeping enemy reduces the amount of time before they regain conciousness.
- Body searches cannot be performed while the Fulton Recovery System is equipped.
Gun Emplacements
Press the Action Button near a gun emplacement to use it. Press the Attack Button to shoot and use

Oil Drum
Target oil drums in a given area with firearms to make them explode. Nearby enemies will be caught in the explosion.
Support Supply/Support Strike
Use the Support Supply Marker to receive ammo and items from Mother Base. Use the Support Strike Marker to call in attack support from Mother Base. Note that using these items too much will have a negative effect on Heroism.
Tranquilizer
Knock out enemies using the tranquilizer gun.
The speed they lose consciousness varies based on where they have been hit. Heads shots take effect more quickly than shots to other areas.
